MEET THE FOUNDER
Gemma Scurich
Born and raised in the diverse environments of Hawaii and California, my design style is a unique blend of these dynamic landscapes. My passion for interior design was ignited in childhood, inspired by the power of transformation within spaces. This fascination led me to the Academy of Art, where I honed my skills, focusing initially on kitchen and bath design alongside my husband's company. This experience fostered my meticulous approach to design, emphasizing precision and detail.
As a member of the Good Future Design Alliance (GDFA) and the Sustainable Furnishings Council, I am deeply committed to sustainable design. My approach integrates emotional resonance with environmental responsibility, sourcing materials from council-approved vendors and reinvigorating existing furnishings. This philosophy extends to every project, where I seek to uncover the unique design style inherent in each client.
Outside of my professional life, inspiration comes from my adventurous 4-year-old daughter and our shared love for travel. Together with my family, we explore global design influences, enjoy water activities, and cherish moments like impromptu home dance parties. My life's work is not just about creating aesthetically pleasing spaces but about crafting environments that inspire and transform.
